Sofia's Air Quality Monitoring System is live!
A total of 22 Air Quality Monitoring Stations now monitor the air quality of Bulgaria's capital in real time. Citizens and guest of the city can access the data utilizing an open data platform. You can access it too, following this link.
"Each of these stations provides information about different parameters - particulate matter, nitrogen dioxide, ozone, carbon monoxide and sulfur dioxide. All this in combination with different meteo parameters, ”explained our CEO and Co-founder Miroslav Gechev at the press conference at the system's start.
City of Ohrid in North Macedonia also started their journey towards clean air by installing 11 of our Stations. The data from these station is also visible through the platform.
More cities, such as Tirana, Thessaloniki and Nicosia, will also be streaming air quality data to the platform in real-time. They will be joining in the coming months.
