What we do, achieve, and learn

Earth Day 2020!

April 22, 2020

Today is Earth Day!
2020 marks its 50th celebration and this year's theme is Climate Action!
Did you know that a person's lifespan would be only 14 days without water? Our entire existence is closely dependent on one single, limited resource.
Water stress already affects every continent and is among the main problems that the World is facing in this century. Water demand rises substantially due to population growth, economic development and expanding cities. It would increase by 55% globally between 2000 and 2050, according to OECD - OCDE. Meanwhile, water availability becomes more unpredictable and uncertain.
Water deficit and scarcity lead to local and global crises and are likely to limit opportunities for economic growth. The World Bank concludes that improving water management could accelerate growth in some regions of the world by 6%.
We at Develiot give great attention to the role of water. People can now feel the consequences of poor water management. There is no new water. So we have to start managing optimally the resources we already have. Our purpose is to enable water utilities to achieve that effectively and efficiently: empower equitable data-driven decisions and pinpoint investments with highest return.
